Graze is a subscription snack box. They’ll send you up to eight snacks every two weeks, or however often you would like them to. You can also cancel at any time.
After I signed up with my address and card information, they asked about my allergies, dietary needs, and food preferences. If you are allergic to soy, dairy, or nuts, this is not the subscription snack box for you as all of the snacks are made and packaged in the same factory alongside such products.
Some of the preferences that I specified included my allergies to pineapples and my strong distaste for raisins. Next, it took me to a page where I could browse all of the snacks they offered, taking into account my food preferences. By ‘liking’ or ‘loving’ a specific snack, you indicate that you want to see that snack in your next delivery.
Eleven days after placing my order, my package arrived. I got four snacks in my trial box:
Spicy Sriracha Crunch: sriracha peas, salted peanuts, garlic sesame sticks & roasted cashews. 6g of protein
Veggie Caesar: sour cream & onion half popped corn, cheddar bruschetta & edamame beans. 4g of protein, 120 calories
Cookies & Cream: white chocolate buttons, sunflower seeds, mini cocoa cookies & cocoa fudge (I should have specified that I am not a fan of white chocolate). vitamins & minerals
Sweet Rhubarb Jam: rhubarb slices, apple & cranberries. Fiber, 100 calories
The packages included ingredients and a few nutritional facts. These little packages are so convenient. I could store them in my kitchen and eat them when I want, put them in my purse, or store them in my desk at work. But on to taste… yum!
The spicy sriracha crunch was delicious. It was so spicy, my nose was running and it had just the right amount of crunch. Now, only the peas were covered in spicy sriracha, so the fact that the other ingredients were not spicy really balanced things out.
The cookies and cream was also pretty good, but I did end up avoiding the chocolate buttons, so I was basically eating chocolate cookies, similar to an Oreo without the cream, and sunflower seeds and sucking on some of the chocolate fudge buttons because I cannot stand chewing on chocolate chips.
I decided to take the veggie caesar and rhubarb jam boxes to work and I discovered, I do not enjoy the rhubarb. I did like the apples and the cranberries, but I definitely picked around the rhubarb. Lastly, the veggie caesar snack tasted similar to sour cream and onion chips with a little more crunch. This was another one that I enjoyed.
All in all, I would give my box a 2.5/4 since I liked two and a half of the snacks. I would put the sriracha crunch at number one, the veggie caesar at two, the rhubarb jam is three, and the cookies & cream is four.
