Spring Clothing Haul with ThredUp

Although Spring is struggling to be consistent here in North Carolina, a Spring clothing haul with thredUp was absolutely necessary for me this year after Spring cleaning out my closet. This post might seem like it’s a little behind the spring clothing haul post trend, but I decided to wait on buying Spring clothes because I wasn’t too sure Spring was actually going to show up this year. However, I was able to buy 7 pieces for a little less than $60 and put together 3 Spring ready outfits!

Finally Spring

When it comes to the Spring season, my go-to outfit combo is a light sweater over a breathable dress. My legs generally don’t get as cold as my arms, so if the weather decides it wants to be temperamental, I’m good. I can either cozy up in my sweater or take it off and wear it around my waist or across my shoulders. I’m looking forward to wearing this outfit for an outdoor cookout or Spring carnivals.

Here, I have on a pullover sweater, originally from Topshop, over a casual dress, originally from Forever21 along with flats I purchased a while ago from Marshall’s (I think). As I did purchase these items from an online thrift store, I got the only ones available, but you may be able to find similar pieces using the links below.

Lazy Monday

Cardigans are another must-have for Spring. I cannot tell you how many cardigans I have because they are also excellent for fall. A cardigan, skirt, and heels are something I would wear to a Spring brunch or lunch date with friends. I’m also thinking about wearing this on a ‘SHORT walk in the park’ type of date because I’m not trying to walk for miles in these heels.

Above, I’m wearing a BDG cardigan, and Blowfish ankle boots, both of which I found at thredUp. The blouse was purchased from H&M about 2 years ago and the skirt was also purchased from H&M about 4 years ago.

Simply Sassy

One of the best things about Spring is that you can finally wear white again (or so the fashion magazines say because there’s really nothing stopping you from wearing white in the winter). But really, white pants are perfect for Spring because they can keep you warm on breezy days, but cool while you’re sitting in the sun. A white or off-white, knitted sweater has similar benefits. I’d wear this to work to show off how fashionably business casual I am, but I could also wear this outfit on an evening date because it’s flirty, yet effortless.

Here, I am wearing a Mossimo Supply Co. pullover sweater, white skinny pants (purchased from H&M 4 years ago), and Fergie heels, tied together with an animal print belt to give it a little sass.
