My friends call me Meisha.
I grew up in Massachusetts and graduated university in North Carolina in 2016 with $200,000 of student loan debt. Since then, I’ve been trying to figure out this adulting thing while finding unique ways to have fun and pay down my student loans.
Everything I do takes into account the predicament in which I put myself. I use coupons and cash back apps when grocery shopping or shopping online. Dining out, traveling, having fun with friends, and clothes shopping comes from a budget I’ve added to for months or even years.
She Tried It 24/7 shares some of the lessons I’ve learned that have also helped me in my journey in living on my own and fulfilling my responsibilities to the Department of Education and Sallie Mae.
